Halloween Partyでの個人発表会も、今年で14回目。心を込めて語れた子ども達、本当によく頑張りました。大好きなお話のCDを何度も聞きながらシャドーイングをしている内に、口も英語を話すことに慣れてくるところが不思議です。
今年、国際交流に参加したT君（中２）、次のようなSpeechをしてくれました。心がつながった瞬間、ホームスティがあっという間に感じたという素敵なお話でした。獣医さんだったホストペアレンツにとって、彼が時間をかけて描きあげた"How,Hippo!"の素敵な絵本は、最高のプレゼントになったことでしょう。1年前のハロウインで素語りをした時に、既にそのご縁が始まっていたようにも感じます。

I went to Illinois State in America．My host family's name is 〇〇．They have dad, mom, one sister, one brother and my host. Actually my host parents are veterinarians. So I went to the veterinary clinic many times. One day I watched operation for dogs. It was interesting. We went many places in this summer. For example their school, bowling alley, Lincoln museum and so on. I enjoyed every place. And my best memory is that I was able to be a member of ○○family．I thought "this homestay is so long" in the middle of my homestay. By the way I told my host family and their friends the story of "How Hippo!" on before two days end of the homestay. My host family looked very happy to get the book. I felt "one month passed by in a brink for me" when I hugged my host family and heard "thank you". The experience that I spent with 〇〇family is my treasure in my life. So I want to see my host family again.
